Summer Cooking Camp runs Monday – Thursday each week.

Camp Rates are $375.00 per student/per camp session.
Health Eaters, Little Readers for campers ages 5-7 cost for these little campers are $180.00 per student/per camp session.

Deliciously Nutritious keeps a “nut free” environment at all times, and works hard to ensure the safety of our students.  If your student(s) has a severe food allergy (anaphylaxis) please contact Melissa Sherwood at the email above. Once Registration & Payment is complete, you will receive our welcome e-mail with all of the Cooking Camp details.

CUPCAKE WARS - THE ART OF FOOD

Ages 6-13

Step into a world where cupcakes become edible masterpieces! Inspired by the art and culture of food, this challenge invites campers to explore bold designs, unexpected color palettes, and sophisticated flavor pairings. Teams will channel their inner pastry artists to craft cupcakes that are as stunning as they are delicious. From swirls of beautiful frosting to cupcake displays that tell a visual story, campers will present their works of edible art to the judges. Prepare to experience delicious journey where food becomes art and creativity knows no bounds!

Each student will carry home treats to share with your family and friends.

FARMERS MARKET WEEK - FARM TO FORK

Join us for an exciting week at Farm to Fork Cooking Camp, where young chefs embark on a culinary adventure from the farm to the kitchen! Designed for children ages this hands-on camp offers a unique opportunity to explore the journey of food from its origins on the farm to delicious dishes on the table. During the week we will have a visit from a local farmer and chef who will work with students to showcase what it means to become sustainable and how to grow your culinary skills to become more confident in the kitchen.

By the end of the week, participants will have a deeper understanding of where their food comes, a vision on how to become more sustainable and the skills to prepare delicious meals using fresh ingredients. They'll leave with increased confidence in the kitchen and a greater appreciation for the journey from farm to fork.

HEALTHY EATERS & LITTLE READERS

AGES 5-7

Introducing "Healthy Eaters & Little Readers", a half-day camp designed for children in Pre-K through 1st grade, focusing on fostering a love for nutritious eating and literacy from an early age. Each day, we will read a captivating food-themed story and then create delicious and nutritious foods inspired by the story, fostering a lifelong love of healthy eating and reading. After the story, campers will participate in fun, hands-on cooking sessions, preparing simple, healthy recipes inspired by the day's tale. These activities are designed to build students' understanding of nutrition while encouraging healthy eating habits at home and beyond. To reinforce the day's lessons, children will engage in arts and crafts projects that tie together themes of nutrition and literacy, allowing them to express their creativity while solidifying new concepts. By integrating engaging stories with practical, hands-on experiences, " "Healthy Eaters & Little Readers" aims to cultivate a lifelong love of nutritious food and reading in young children. Unleash your creativity in the ultimate cupcake showdown! Teams will receive a surprise ingredient that must be featured as the star of their cupcake creation. It could be sweet, savory, or totally unexpected—think fruit, veggies, candy, flavorings or even spices. You'll have to brainstorm, bake, and decorate while making the mystery ingredient shine. Teams will pitch their unique flavor combinations to the judges, explaining how they balanced flavors and textures. Will your cupcake surprise and delight the judges, or will it remain a baking mystery? Let's find out together!
